I have been teaching math at the high school level for the past 10 years. It's very rewarding to help students learn. When I teach math, I like to make it enjoyable and relate it to things that students like. I break down concepts to make them easier to understand, and I also lead students through the steps of problem-solving so they find answers on their own. I encourage a lot of questions, because that tells me a lot about the way a student learns and how I can help them. I attended Northeastern State University to earn my mathematics degree. In my free time, I enjoy football, basketball, volunteering, and classic video games.
